All club secretaries and hoteliers, as well as staff involved in gaming related functions on licenced premises are to complete an approved Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) course before commencing employment.
This RCG training course aims to provide easy access to information including: the law, responsible and ethical promotion of gambling, and strategies designed to ensure that gambling is conducted responsibly and that prevention strategies are in place to inform and educate gambling patrons at risk.

Assessment:
At the end of the course you are required to successfully complete a written assessment.
RCG Course Outcome:
On successful completion, participants receive a Statement of Attainment in "Provide Responsible Gambling Services SITHGAM006A" as part of Certificate II in Hospitality Operations.
